We know the importance of reliable internet connectivity at home during remote learning. D20 has two programs for families eligible for Free and Reduced Lunch to apply for free internet. Both programs are NO COST to families.
(1) Internet Essentials Partnership with Comcast for internet to be installed at your home and paid by the district through the end of the school year.
(2) D20 WiFi Hotspot Program to loan a free hotspot from the district for your household through the end of the school year.
For this week's update on ESD20 Return to Learn and hybrid learning, administrators recorded a roundtable discussion for our families. Please watch this video to learn more about hybrid learning, upcoming events for students and parents, as well as which COVID-19 metrics district administrators monitor closely to keep our students and staff as safe as possible.
Please ensure your student is compliant with all grade-level health requirements. Please contact your school office directly with any questions.
State of Illinois regulations require students to be in compliance or excluded from in-person school. Non-compliant students will not be allowed in the building for in-person learning until their health requrements have been met.
Remote Only students who have not met health requirements may continue with remote learning.
All information for Returning to In-Person and Remote-Only Learning for YOUR SPECIFIC SCHOOL is now posted under the RETURN TO LEARN TAB for your school. Links to your school's page can also be found under D20 Communication Center, D20 Return to Learn, and Quicklinks.
Information such as Health & Safety Protocols, AM/PM Schedules and In-Person Learning start dates, Bus Routes, and other school information will be posted on the Return to Learn page for your school.
We have confirmed the following for both Hanover Park and Roselle Park District Programs at Greenbrook and Waterbury, starting November 2. Due to health and safety guidelines, the programs will be limited to a set number of students (approximately 30-45 total), so registration will be first come, first serve. Registration and all details will be handled directly with the park districts.
Administrators recorded a roundtable Hybrid Learning Q&A Discussion addressing many of the questions and concerns that we have received from parents. We have also posted an updated AM/PM Hybrid Sample Schedule with times, for Elementary and Middle School.
