For Grades 1-8, the first day of school will be a half-day on Thursday, August 20th.
For Preschool (ECC), the first day of school is tentatively on Monday, August 24th, with pre-school screening on Thursday, August 20th and Friday, August 21st. (We are currently working to finalize the ECC calendar and will post as soon as it is approved.)
For Kindergarten, the first day of school will be a full day on Wednesday, August 26th. Pre-K Screenings will take place on Monday, August 24th and Tuesday, August 25th.

The Tanglewood Neighborhood Revitalization Coalition is partnering to host a free after-school program for your child(ren)with a focus on homework help, tutoring and fun learning activities around healthy relationship building and literacy. The program will take place every Wednesday from 3 to 5:30 PM and will run from March 11th through May 27th.

Thank you to Bernie's Book Bank for donating another bag filled with books to each K-6 student in District 20! The kids were once again SO EXCITED to have their own books to bring home! As you can see from the attached video, the kids' smiles are priceless!
D20 teachers were so excited today to "see" their students and connect with their classes. We hope that your child enjoyed engaging with their class as well! We know that this is a very stressful time for families, and we cannot thank you enough for your understanding and patience as we all adapt to this "new way of teaching and learning." Please remember that Friday 4/10 and Monday 4/13 are non-attendance days and no remote instruction will take place on either of those days.
